On March 15, 2023, Amelia Lyle and Virginia Edmonds filed a class action lawsuit against Dog Sciences, LLC dba Unleashed Academy and Dogology NW, and Mary Davies dba Dogology NW, alleging false advertising, using unconscionable contracts, and delivering illusory and misleading certifications of service animal performance. On August 30, 2023, Samantha Larsen filed a class action lawsuit against Dog Sciences, LLC dba Unleashed Academy and Dogology NW, making similar allegations. A genuine copy of her class action lawsuit is available below.
On April 12, 2024, the Spokane County Superior Court consolidated both class actions.
On September 20, 2024, the Spokane County Superior Court granted Plaintiffs’ motion to certify their consolidated class action lawsuit. A genuine copy of that order is available below.
The class certified consists of:
“All persons who entered into any contract or parted with any money to purchase a service dog or service puppy from Mary Davies dba Dogology NW or Dog Sciences, LLC dba Unleashed Academy at any time from 9/20/2018 to the date of the final disposition of this action.”
